Daniela & Jacob's Wedding Celebration
*** POSTPONED TO: JULY 3, 2021***
Dear wonderful guests, Jacob and I have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding celebration to next year due to the COVID-19 virus. Our highest priority is the safety of our loved ones, and we are grateful for your support and understanding.
To protect our loved ones, we are choosing to limit our wedding guests to folks who do not have to risk exposure via flying and are local to Indiana. We will be sending additional info, and sincerely apologize for having to limit our wedding attendance.
We are clearing all RSVPs from the below form, as we understand that your availability may change in the next year. Even if you're already RSVP'd for 2020, we ask that you re-RSVP for our 2021 celebration.
July 3, 2021
Ceremony: 10 AM
Reception: 12 PM
@ Avon Gardens at 6259 E County Rd 91 N, Avon, IN 46123
Your support and love is the greatest gift, but if you'd like to give us a gift, we're very grateful! In lieu of a physical gift registry, we're supporting Foster Parrots (a exotic bird sanctuary in Rhode Island that takes in, fosters, and adopts out all sorts of feathered friends). We've also set up a honeymoon registry for our trip to Rio de Janeiro in September.
Foster Parrots Ltd:
We visited their sactuary and grounds, and can vouch for the incredible work this non-profit is doing. They have larger cages for big or paired parrots, and smaller aviaries for larger flocks of birds, like cockatiels. Their volunteers truly care about the well being of the birds, and often foster the birds most in need of a quiet place to recover due to abuse or malnutrition. Daniela donates to Foster Parrots every year in memory of her best buddy, Cricket (pictured right).

Lodging & Logistics
The venue, Avon Gardens, is a 25 minute drive from Indianapolis International Airport and a 30 minute drive from the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
Indianapolis doesn't have public transportation. If you're flying in, you will need to use a Lyft/Uber/taxi or a rental car to get around. A lodging/rental car sharing spreadsheet in the section below. Traffic usually isn't an issue, but we'd add 10 minutes to any drive to deal with constant construction everywhere.
Here are some hotel options that within a 20-25 minute drive of the reception venue, close to the airport:

SWIMMING RELATED INFO:
Sadly, there aren't any open water spots anyone is legally allowed to swim/train in like we're used to. The IUPUI Natatorium and the Baxter YMCA are two spots you can enter with a day pass that have lap swimming. If anyone needs a guest pass to the YMCA, please reach out to Daniela.
